Trevino - Newcastle

The food here is tasteful, fresh and exciting. You don't get a meal that's not over the top. The spices are wonderful. The drinks are thirst quenching, and it is a huge family favorite as my mother moved to the area. Portion sizes are HUGE. You can have 3 meals from a dish. Prices are very reasonable. The service is slower since the pandemic, but everywhere is struggling with the staff, that is something we just need to invest in our time as guests. The place is clean, people are friendly. I really love it.

Service and food were both excellent!! Really love the cheese-dip chips! The salsa could use more onions and something else to add more taste (many cilantro) not safe... it was nice without much taste. The price for the amount of food we received was also very good. We enjoyed our lunch there and go back as soon as we get to Tuttle. I'm sorry I forgot to take photos... I'll add pictures next time.

The El Chapo Burrito was really good. How can you not love bacon wrapped Burrito?

Excellent food here! Included chips, queso, salsa, and tortillas. Every meal I have gotten here has been great, my only slight complaint is occasionally the staff aren't very attentive to our needs and prices have gone up over the years but that's normal. Overall great restaurant!
