Fantastic Indian food, really explodes with flavour. Nice gin menu wide choice of beers to accompany it as well. Staff are great here, attentive but discreet: Safi asked to be mentioned by name, so got gotta respect that. Would definitely recommend we'll be back for sure.
The restaurant features a lovely and spacious dining area, with tables arranged far enough apart to ensure good social distancing. While the prices are slightly higher than typical Indian restaurants, the quality of the food makes it worth it. The menu includes a mix of intriguing new dishes alongside classic favorites. A glass divider offers a view of the immaculate kitchen, allowing diners to watch the chefs at work. Although the wine selection was somewhat limited, there is an interesting gin menu to explore. Overall, I had a delightful dining experience here.
I had a really great dining experience! I tried the vegetarian options, which were packed with lentils and chickpeas. The restaurant has a classic look and offers excellent service. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal before heading to a performance. The prices are a bit higher compared to other places nearby, or it would have definitely earned 5 stars. However, takeout is a little cheaper, which is a nice bonus.
I ordered from here via Just Eat, and the delivery was fast, arriving hot with a friendly driver. The meal was well-packaged and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the garlic naan, which not only smelled wonderful but also paired perfectly with my Goan fish curry. The sauce was fantastic, and there was plenty of fish in the curry. As for the Manjal chicken tikka starter, it was tasty, but I think it could use a bit more flair; it felt more like a delicious chicken breast that accompanied my main meal rather than a true starter. Overall, everything was delicious, and I highly recommend the Goan fish curry to anyone who enjoys fish and authentic curries.
