Mollie's Food Follies - Newport

Mollies is a fabulous place to eat, dedicated woman to her business and cooking great food and goodies

I was told by the owner the credit card machine adapter on her cellphone had been acting up.She ran my CC and said it 'didn 't work '...didn 't let me look at it.Ran it a second time.I signed for what we ordered.Checked my CC statement a few days later and she charged me for someone else 's ticket before my correct ticket.Play dumb...but she knew what she was doing.Food was decent.Place was......crammed full of all kinds of stuff and I 'm a neat freak but my daughter in law said...let 's just stay.None of us got sick.But I definitely did not appreciate the CC scam.

This place is sketchy. Nothing about it looks clean or sanitary. The food was okay she brought our kids' food out first, which I appreciate. It really felt like i had gone to my elderly father's cluttered house for lunch. It's located in a little artistic area that has lots of fun things for kids to look at. I spent the next 36 hours monitoring us all for food poisoning, which none of us got. So...go for it, I guess, but set your expectations accordingly. We'll certainly be talking our meal at Molly's for years to come, but not because the food was outstanding, if you know what I mean.

After trekking around the coast all day, this was exactly the place I needed. The food is amazing and the service is top notch! Thank you!

Molly is amazing! Her shop looks chaotic, but I had the most amazing eclair! I'm going back for her ice cream sandwich with handmade galette cookies dipped in ganache I'm a former bakery owner I'm impressed ?If you get a chance, please visit.
