One Pelham East - Newport

If you want to go to the piano bar, make sure you check in online first. They take reservations and there are limited space. Actors were wonderful. They engaged the crowd. Many song requests came with $20 tips. So... you really need to want this song. 3 flights to enter from stairs. I'm sure there's an elevator, but I didn't see him. The bar below also had live music, really solid guitar. Floors are bricks, not journey! These are two separate entrances... we didn't know we were kindly informed. Standard bar food, but exactly what was necessary.

The service after 10 is terrible. Do not worry to ask the bar tenderly why they have served several people instead of you, although you have waited patiently in the line. They'll tell you to talk to a manager. The manager will throw you out because he doesn't want to handle it. After that, 5 bouncers will surround you to intimate you and escort all while the manager says that you are going out and the cops are called. Obviously asking why you are ignored is a problem for them and do not want business.

We went to the Dueling Pianos Show for New Year's Eve. We had fun, but if you stand room just you 'll either in the room where the conversation happens, stand behind all tables or in the adjacent room with the bar watching everything from a bad quality projection screen (which was black and white the first half of the show). The pianist was talented and funny. You take paid request for songs by cash or Venmo. I loved the Venmo option because I was able to demand a song for my wife over the bar room. There was a free coat check. I'd go back, but I'd be sure I'd get a table instead of just the room. The bartenders were great!

We walked in randomly and was greeted by the kindest bartender Brian. His energy and enthusiasm was so beautiful. He made the best espresso martini and gave us some beautiful history of Newport harbor as this was our first visit we loved to hear. So serious thanks to him for making our random bar visit amazing and making us feel super welcome!

I never got a better groove with a country song then a live one in One Pelham East! The cheese burger was a good feast too! Best place in Newport!
