She pulled our seat from the kamin because it was too hot. she even read me a few more since I forgot mine in the car. the waitress/ waitress was inconspicuous. we waited for our first drink forever. we had to fly someone out to clean our table. when I finished my first glass wee, I was not asked if I wanted another, although the glass was empty. we got dessert menus and waited for over 10 minutes to get back server, we decided not to order dessert as it took too long. everything else was excellent. eat excellent.
We went to the cash for $1 uttering from 4-5:30. we sat at our dining table, which was an intimate round table in the corner next to the kamin. they did not require us to sit on the bar and served us to utter, parker house roll and drink. we ordered a light dinner that was delicious. after dinner the concierge showed us something around the hotel and explained some of its history. very interesting.
Nice atmosphere, first the first cure took a little time to get out, but after that everything was really good. our waiter. dwayne was excellent.
The ambiente seemed bizarre for a historic home served in the afternoon. I expected more time music, certainly not love potion no. 9. the chairs and sofas for tee were beautifully decorated. for $50 I expected fresh baked goods and sandwiches. they seemed to place far before our order. the server were very friendly, but miss identified 2 of the items on the tea services. I won't do it again.
The fish was slightly over cooked, but had great flavor and complexity. My three companions enjoyed their meals very much and we had a wonderful time today. Beautiful space top-notch service. Ju
