Flame Broiler - Newport Beach

I had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant. The "Buy One, Get One" deal they advertised was not honored as I expected. I assumed that if I purchased a cheaper item, the other would be free, but that wasn’t the case. I paid for a clean worktop and a regular tofu bowl, along with a $6 discount, but it felt misleading. It’s frustrating when a business doesn’t honor its own coupons, especially since these were specific to this location and not a general offer. This is the restaurant closest to my home, which is why I used to visit often, but I will think twice about going back in the future.

The dish tasted questionable and was mostly filled with rice, resembling nothing more than a poor imitation of something better.

The meal was generally enjoyable, but there was an issue with the chicken. I ordered a chicken plate, and while everything else was good, the chicken itself was dry, tough, and hard to chew. It seemed like it had been boiled and then reheated, likely making it over two days old.Overall, it was disappointing and lacked flavor.

Wow. I pulled inside to eat. when I opened the door, the guy in the cash didn't greet me, but went straight into the bathroom. Masked under his kinen and dirty, he didn't look sick, but he looked like he wanted me not to come in. never talked to me. the chef looked at me the door as if he had been caught, I can't imagine how careless it could be and the fact that it was completely left on the parking lot, I wondered how old that would be eating. I came out quickly and I ran away. never eat there. the personal needs serious school cleanliness and customer service would help.

Love the food but service here is poor; order clerk didn 't know how to deal with digital payments. Rudely said we don 't take Apple Pay. Ok, wasn 't using apple pay, just my debit card (touchless). We don 't take that he insisted so I took myself next door and had better food and much faster. I guess this flame broiler is now in my do not go to list .
