The total bill for three of us came to $187 after tips and taxes. The must-try dish is definitely the Calamari, which is crispy and golden, making it the highlight of their menu. The prosciutto pizza stands out as the best option compared to the other choices. However, the Molisana pizza had a peculiar taste and is not recommended. The meatballs tasted like a mix of lunch meat and pork, and the pasta, particularly the Shrimp Clam pasta, was just average with no standout flavors. Service was acceptable, albeit a bit slow, likely due to the high volume of visitors each day. The tables were not impeccably clean, but given the constant flow of guests, it's understandable. I've rated it four stars instead of three because it's the only restaurant available around the tourist spot. Other options in the area are significantly more expensive and often disappointing in terms of food quality.
My friend and I were in town for the Bills game on NYE of 2023 #GoBills), so we walked across the border to hang out in Niagara Falls, Canada for a bit. We popped here for lunch and split a pepperoni pizza and some drinks. Their pizza was SO good! The one pizza was perfect for the two of us, even though they look a bit smaller. They also have good ranch to dip the pizza in if that's your cup of tea- I personally would eat anything dipped in ranch). From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by multiple people and were made to feel very welcome. That is a rarity these days, as many restaurants are so stressed in need of help that they forget to show love appreciation to customers. I would definitely return, and honestly, I haven't stopped thinking about their pizza since that day. It's woodfire made- my favorite!
There are a lot of restaurants for tourists in Niagara Falls City, but I had difficulty finding a decent restaurant that serves dishes with appropriate prices. I think it was a good choice to visit this restaurant for lunch. The veal panini and the minestrone were tasty though I got full and could not eat the bread that came with the soup.
The thing that I need to call out most here is the chicken. I had 2-3 dishes with their grilled chicken breast and it was incredibly moist and flavorful! Can I have the recipe to make this at home? The filo-wrapped goat cheese was delicious (yes, I'm a huge fan of goat cheese). The apple, beet, and goat cheese salad was really good (goat cheese for the win). The pollo Mediterranean was delicious, with the chicken being absolutely overfill once again! I wanted to try the pizza, but was so full!
Only place we eat in when we visit Niagara Falls! Wouldn't be disappointed the service is always great !
