First time eating at the restaurant, Chelsea was our server, great service! She was on top of her game, checked on us several times and kept our drinks full, and a shout out to the cooks, great tasting food, I ate an omelet with tomatoes, feta cheese plate with the fixins, my other half ate pancakes, sausage and potatoes, and eggs. Will be back in the future for a great meal.
I can’t give zero stars, so one is where it is. Nice looking place but that’s about it. Greeted by a hostess that looked like she couldn’t have been bothered to be there greeting people. Table of 6 with two kids. Not enough menus of even pre wrapped silverware when we were brought. Paper “specials” menus that look like they’ve been used for weeks with food stains and water marks. No kids menus we they had to print but came after we ordered (one kids menu was folded in a menu and covered in crayon scribble so we were able to I guess use that. Coffee was bottom of the urn burnt and bitter. Not enough sugar on the table could have saved it. My son had a pancake that wasn’t even cooked through, he ate half cause he was hungry. I had pancakes that once I ate away from the edge were raw. Wife had an egg breakfast that the plate was greasy as anything, toast that was more butter than bread. Waitress must have asked 8 times if we wanted coffee before anyone even drank any coffee. My mother in law didn’t want to make a big deal, but 6 people ate and more than 3/4 of the food across the table wasn’t even touched. I’m seeing all these posts about new ownership… that’s no excuse for bad food. Also, when you have a huge high ceiling, probably should tell your servers to keep their voices down at the wait station or the front desk. Voices carry. “Owner” doesn’t need to reply to this. Never coming back to give a second try.
Got the Cuzin Vinnie and was served very quickly and was the best sandwich i’ve had in a very long time, tasted similar to jersey mikes “big mike” but much juicier and tastier ingredients, Service was extremely friendly and helpful.
Under new ownership: In town for the holiday. Went to Anita’s for lunch. This was a major disappointment. Hubs ordered a BLT Salad and a Coke. I ordered a phillycheese steak sandwich no onions. His salad was wilted lettuce- no crisp and fresh- a warm boiled egg and got a pack of Italian dressing instead of the French and ranch requested. My sandwich was over dried out/ cooked. It had onion and no mushroom. The waitress repeated the order and the kitchen got it wrong. The owner delivered the food to the table. He was nice but not dressed as a manager/owner/professional. He had work boots on, heavy work pants, and a long sleeved blue shirt. He actually looked like a random construction worker dropping the food off to our table. Dress for success, appearance matters. I sent back the sandwich and asked it to be removed from the bill. The owner offered to remake it but I declined. They had a new line cook. I didn’t want a disgruntled cook tampering with my food. ? The service from Nelly was not good. She was the person waiting tables. She didn’t come back and refill our drinks. I blame the owner for not having proper staff- not Nelly. Note to owner: do not call your customers hon or bud. This is a tough business- good luck. Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice ramp.
