After passing through Donner Tunnels, the fresh baked cake plate had to saw and stop. Mixed Berry Pie was delicious! Host was friendly and funny. Like the stickers at the bar. Will definitely be back to taste the food!
In many seats. The waiter was obese and sloppy. This alone prevented me from thinking that the food was worthy of their fine food prices. This sloppyly dressed waiter ignored me until the couple near me told him (if I refer to me) to take my order and let them know if they needed anything else It was clear for them and me that he was to float and to their table, hoping for a great tip, and ignore the woman who came from herself. It is not worth eating somewhere with prices on the menu that indicates the service should be good. (High prices with a waiter who was insulting in appearance and demeanor). So instead of eating there, I talked to a nice couple and then left. There are many good restaurants in Truckee. No need to waste time in this café.
Great food and alcohol. Loved the Nachos and the Bitter Bush Mule. Sweet waitress too!
We just split a basic DSR Burger it hit the spot after hiking! We usually order from the bar instead of waiting for table service. Lettuce and tomato was fresh and ripe. Love the Thai meals on Fridays after 6 pm. You can pick up a map for free Disc Golf here. A sign at the bar says PCT Pacific Crest Trail through hikers can arrange a shower, bunk and laundry here too. All other reviews about the ambiance and character of the place is right on.
