Firehouse Subs N. Charleston

My first time here and I was not impressed with the food.

The steak and cheese sub was good I had a small which was very small but good. The workers was working on the sandwich as I was thinking lol. The place was clean and very calm.

I love firehouse subs but this location does not have good service.

On July 3, 2023, at 7250 Rivers Avenue, N. Charleston, I had purchased a medium corned beef sandwich on wheat, no mayo. Not only did the sandwich not have mayo, there was no mustard on it. The corned beef was tough and fatty. I threw it in the garbage. Last time buying a sandwich from Firehouse.

Ordered the brisket sandwich. Very fatty, and slimy. Not the employees fault. Just not a good sandwich. Especially for a $17 medium sub.Service seems out of it, excluding the two people making sandwiches, the three surrounding them appeared to be lacking conviction or direction especially with the soda machine that wasn’t working properly or even that there were people waiting to order.I have had this sandwich in the past and liked it, but never again. Also wouldn’t go back to this location.
