Hondo's #2 - North Dumdum

Located in Chinar Park, this restaurant is almost hidden from the public as it is on a lane on the inside leaving the main arterial road. The restaurant has quite good options specially breakfast and snacks. Taste is good overall however, I believe there is still room for improvement. The seating space is actually quite small. I went after 12 in the morning when it was deserted but I am sure there are times when there is a space crunch. The best part of the restaurant is that they are open 24X7 which makes it a perfect joint for a midnight chit chat over a coffee. Pricing is a little on the higher side which is the only downside in my opinion as there are other competitors offering same kind of food at a lower cost and perhaps with better taste too.

A hidden gem located at Chinarpark which is open 24×7. The small joint offers a variety of delicious dishes with chicken, pork and beef. This place will give you reasons to revisit because they serve the best burgers and steaks over Kolkata. We had Wolverine, Kumropotash and Pork Chops. I'll just say it was 10/10. The patty was very juicy and pork chops was nicely cooked with amazing presentation. I highly recommend Hondo's #2.

Tried the MCB burger. The burger was very good, filled with veggies. Ideally want to give 3.5, deducting 1 point for ambience and hygiene of the place which can be improved for a proper dining experience. Also deducting .5 as my personal opinion was that the patty was not medium rare which was mentioned and more towards well done and the patty could have been more flavourful.

Best place in Kolkata for continental food!! Had the best Stake n Jacket Potato in a longtime by a long shot at Hondo's....keep it up Arindam n Adhip! ... Cheers!!!

Reached here after being recommended by a friend. A nicely decorated food joint with comfortable clean seating arrangement. The staff behaviour was great. We ordered Hellboy, Honey Bunny and Mushroom Cheese filled jacket potatoes. The Hellboy I must say was huge in size. My jaws were literally paining after accommodating the first perfect bite (without the patty getting slipped out from the other side . The taste was good. Expected a bit more, but its ok! The price range I felt was a little on the higher side as compared to the portion size. It would be great if the price was somewhere around 200 (including fries . But again, thats upto the owners to decide. : All in all, a great sunday evening spent at a cool place. A great place to hangout...I must say! Will look to forward to visit again someday.
