Bad Apple Mac's - North Madison

Great place for lunch. The bad apple Mac burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

Food was just ok. We ordered take out. I got the famous Apple Mac burger and bread pudding. The burger is very wet, due to the Mac and cheese layer. I got creating turning it upside down. It was a little under seasoned. More spice and a burger sauce would balance the flavors better.The bread pudding is the star of the show, sweet and delicious.I had Irish grilled cheese, the beer cheese makes this sandwich fire.Next time I'll eat at the restaurant and see if that improved the burger flavors and taste rest of the menu.

The food we had was great; a Reuben and a Cuban. The Reuben was thick and loaded with mild sauerkraut. The “cuban” was a great sandwich as well, just not authentic. We've had them made by a Cuban chef. The bread on the Cuban was some sort of bun, not pressed and crispy; and it had honey mustard. Still a good sandwich.It's a small dining room full of hard surfaces and therefore its noisy. It's in an old building with the original wooden doors and the door slams every time someone comes and goes.They were very busy when we visited and so service was a bit slow, but that's to be expected. The waitstaff was very friendly. We will return when we're in the area.

Love it! Pork Loin Casserole is divine. ? All the soups are tasty as well.
