The Staff lost and very unhelpful what a Shame that my visit was spoilt by very disrespectful attitudes smell of cigarette smoke and ungodly sounds coming from behind the counter we will be visiting Walsingham again but not Norton's good luck if you dare step inside
First visit here and was not disappointed. The young gentleman that served us was very polite. Lots of seating inside and out. Nice variety on the menu with daily specials on the board. We all really enjoyed our lunch. There was a good variety of cakes on display at sensible prices. I thoroughly recommend Nortons.
This cafe was a disappointment. My family and I were initially impressed by the quiet courtyard and charming setting. However, we found the staff to be rude and lacking in customer service skills. The coffee selection was limited, and the children's menu only offered a choice of pizza (which we saw was burnt) with no other options like eggs. We ended up ordering a bacon sandwich for our 2-year-old granddaughter, which was brought out quickly by a grumpy staff member. Unfortunately, the sandwich was made with cheap white bread and extremely overcooked bacon that was difficult to chew. Overall, we will not be returning to this cafe.
We always visit Norton's when we re in Walsingham. The surroundings are so pretty and you can sit inside or out.The prices are good for coffee and homemade cakes but my favourite is the real lemonade.I was reliably informed that each batch takes 70 lemons, wow! The cafe is always clean and tidy and the young staff who work there during the Summer are great. We will be back soon.
