The children’s menu was far more than the usual, again, freshly cooked and wholesome. Ed, the Head Chef came to check on us mid meal, a lovely touch. The pub was full, the atmosphere was good, bustling but not rowdy, really good! 100% we will be back booking is essential!
The meals are superb at the Old Inn in Hutton. I think our waiter was called Leo, and he was a friendly young man. The meals are fair sizes, you won't leave the pub hungry! The pub itself needs a bit of a sprucing up as it's looking tired and shabby in places hence the 4 stars, but the meals are simply delicious.
Great pub food, very broad menu. Pasta dishes and pie were delicious! A bit basic decor wise but pleasant enough. Very accommodating to group bookings
I booked a table for 6.30pm and we sat inside. Service was very good and as soon as we sat down the waitress appeared to take out drinks order a pint of Palmers, Tribute, half pint of coke, a mixer and 250mls of Malbec total bill £20.65 which in the current climate is very reasonable. The food order was taken and looked very appetising when it arrived. It had definitely been freshly cooked. Scampi tails, tenderloin, fish and chips and king prawn linguine generous portions and good value. Three of us had a dessert raspberry cheesecake, Balieys cheesecake and sorbet all apparently delicious. The Baileys cheese cake was a bit expensive at £8.75 Total bill £99.20 so less than £25 per person for 2 courses and a drink good value Staff were very helpful I will definitely visit again
Best steak pie my other half has ever had! Both meals very reasonably priced and very tasty! Also a good selection of ales on the bar. Stayed the night locally and made sure we booked a table due to having our dog with us. Only downside was the size of the car park, if other patrons had parked better then we wouldn’t have had to park down the other end of the hamlet.
