They ran out of wine glasses so I had to drink my red wine from a highball glass (the wine was still great! . They also ran out of saucers for the espresso cup and dessert spoons. We were given soup spoons for the tiramisu. It still tasted pretty good! I had the ahi tuna salad which was delicious. My friend had the seafood fettuccine which she said also tasted good. There were actually 5 mussels in her plate however three of the shells were empty. Maybe they were there just for decoration. The fried calamari were not good. The portion was very small, the calamari were soggy and very bland. We still enjoyed our dinner and will go back but hopefully on a quieter night.
Don't understand gluten free. The toast GF hamburger buns on same toaster/grill as their regular grill cheese. Service was also ridiculously slow and it wasn't even busy.
Great Place!. We decided to meet at this location of Milestone's as it was halfway for both of us (one of us was coming from Scarborough, another from Mississauga . When we walked in, we were greeted by a kind hostess at the front. I have to admit, it was quite dark in the front lounge area however, it was quite bright outside, so it wasn't too bad. We were seated in a really nice area of the restaurant which was up one level from the main entrance. The restaurant itself was well-decorated, it was chic and modern, with a classic feel to it. Our waitress, Fabiana, came over after we were seated for a few minutes and brought us our menus. She was very knowledgeable about the specials and enthusiastic! She mentioned that was a nutrionist and she didn't want to influence our decision to order what we wanted based on her position as a nutritionist, she was funny! We settled on the spicy fried chicken sandwich and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich (I also got a side of sweet potato fries to bring home . The meals took about 15 minutes to arrive. Fabiana brought them on two big beautiful plates with a smile, we really enjoyed having her as our waitress. The food was very good, it was well-cooked with the perfect amount of flavour. We decided to dine a little while longer after we had finished our meals and Fabiana was perfectly fine with it (it wasn't busy at the time as it was a Saturday afternoon . When our bill came, I realized that I had a coupon for 20% off. Fabiana gladly took the coupon and gave us a new bill. She was very accomodating. After the 20% discount, we only paid $32 for all of the food that we ordered which was an awesome deal! This place was beyond amazing; great food, great service (thanks Fabiana! and great atmosphere. Will definitely return again and will recommend you give it a try!
Amazing Food Service. I have only been to Milestones Yorkdale 2 or 3 times but I always know what to expect each time Tasty unique food options, fabulous service, and a trendy atmosphere!<br/ <br/ For sure turning into one of my favourite spots in the city!
Good meeting place. This is a busy location with a sociable atmosphere. Long waits are expected, but we quickly found a table in the bar area and just ate there. Wait staff was friendly, and knowlegable of the menu with recommendations. The food is a little pricey but quite delicious. If you decide to just go for appetizers and some drinks it won't break the bank and you'll still have a good time.
