Ezra Pound - Northbridge

Nice decor and ambiance inside and out. Average overpriced cocktails we stood and watched our barman fumble around for what felt like an eternity making one of their cocktails way too much grenadine, it was sickly sweet and 80% ice disappointed. I ordered a neat spirit with soda it was definitely not a full shot as he used the small cocktail measure and didn't even fill THAT, you could barely see it in the glass! My cripplingly low self esteem prevented me from saying anything, worst part was I got up to go to the toilet and my drink half finished was gone when I got back ...

Love the drinks in jars idea, very vintage and chic. HOWEVER incredibly disappointing that they were first filled over the brim with ice and then drinks poured three quarters of the way. Feel very ripped off. Only had them and left to go elsewhere.

Perfetto. We came to Ezra Pound after eating at Bivouac and it was a perfect end to our night. The cocktails were different and delicious and the staff were awesome! Highly recommend to anyone to check it out.

Hipster hangout and what's worse is they got offended when I asked if it was. They don't have any beer on tap so my best option was to ask for a king brown of fosters, anyway they start wrapping it in a brown paper bag I tell them that I'm not drinking it in the park they tell me it's their thing that they are a prohabition bar (which makes no sense since it was never introduced in Australia) I explain to them that this is what bums do and from there on I get glares from one of the staff all night. Don't go to this place it's just a really bad vibe

Cocktail review. I always manage to find myself at ezra whenever im in the city because it is just so wonderful! I have no idea where all these horrible reviews are coming from considering I've been there so many times and never once had a bad experience. Big ups to all the staff who are incredibly patient and welcoming and who treat cocktail making as an art. Especially to Dash who never fails to be polite regardless of who late it is/how many hours he's worked. Hands down my favourite and the best place to show off to my friends.
