I went there with two friends, and one server was so rude to us because we did not follow his grilling order to cook our meat. He was mad at us since we grilled one pork, and then beef, not continued grilled another pork. He turned off our fire, and changed the comb, and then put all the pork, beef on it RUDELY, no matter it's cooked or raw, and criticized us not follow his simple rule, and threatened us to be chagred more tips. SERIOUSLY? He destroyed all my eating mood.Excuse me? Are we against any law to eat at our preference? We have to eat all the pork, otherwise we have no right to eat beef? It's so rediculous, it's my first time ever around the whole world to be treated this rude at a resturant. As a server, you can gengenlly suggest the customer how to eat in a better way(you think is better). HOWEVER. I'm a adult customer, I know what I want to eat first, OK?I'll never go to this resturant again. I go to resturant to enjoy the food I like, I don't go to resturant to be taught/educated/criticized /threatened by any server, OK?
The service in this restaurant is horrible. One of their server can not control his temper and even tread at us, just because we didn 't follow his protocol to grill the food.Initially, we placed an order for pork belly and beef short ribs. We began by grilling the pork belly and, after finishing it, decided to order more pork belly. While we were grilling the beef, one server brought the second order of pork belly to our table. To our surprise, he hurriedly removed the beef from the grill and insisted that we should prioritize the pork belly. This was confusing because we were never informed of a specific grilling order.Despite this, we chose to continue grilling the beef since it was almost done. The same server, however, noticed this and became irate with us. In an aggressive tone, he confronted us, saying, YOU THINK IT 'S FUNNY? and extinguished the grill flames. This unexpected and hostile reaction left us all shocked and apprehensive. Shortly thereafter, the server returned, replaced the grill plate in a rude manner, and carelessly placed all the food, whether raw or cooked, onto it. Furthermore, he threatened us, stating, If you cannot follow the simple rules, I have no choice but to charge you a 20% tip. I have never encountered such an unprofessional and uncomfortable situation at a restaurant simply because we didn 't follow a server 's preferred protocol. If the restaurant has specific guidelines for grilling food, it would be more appropriate to clearly display them on the menu or on the wall. In this restaurant, there is nothing to tell us that it has any specific rules. Customers visit a restaurant primarily for the food, not to be subjected to server anger or threats.
We came here for dinner and had a fantastic meal. We ordered the sliced natural pork, sliced natural pork with skin, and marinated sliced premium short ribs. The complimentary side dishes and soup were delicious, and the meat we ordered was all so tender and flavorful. This is one of the best Korean barbecue places we’ve been to in the US, and we would definitely come back for more!
I’ve never been to such a rude restaurant. We came here so happy on a date, and this young server was so rude, and making fun of us, while looking at us and laughing. He came out running to us after we left tip and ask if the service was bad? What the… I would never recommend this terrible place. Never… So embarrassing to act so unmannered.
