Just by looking at the display cases filled with cakes and cookies, I could already tell that they used bright food dyes. I was specifically looking for some St. Joseph cakes or sfinge, but all I saw were cheap maraschino cherries on top - definitely not authentic. There was not a single sfogatelle in sight. I left feeling disappointed.
Good Stuff...Fresh and tasty. Owner and Top Shelf Baker aims to please. Great personality to deal with, and pleasant! Should you display a dry sense or sarcastic humor, bring your A game. She is quick and fast to laugh!!
I went in to purchase St. Joseph pastries here last week and I thought that they looked a little over baked but I bought them any way. They are supposed to be light and airy filled with ricotta cream. They were hard and dense and literally burnt. What a disappointment. Never again. I learned my lesson. Next time I will travel to get good Italian pastries.
Great place. Wonderful selection. Fresh and delicious. This place is the home town small Bakery I've been missing.I also purchased a St Joseph pastry and thought it was perfect. Baked to perfection.Never had one before but look forward to something new in the near future.
Just had a cake done for my grand baby’s baby shower and everyone said the cake was beautiful as well as delicious. Cash only is a disappointment but that’s how it is.
