Contribuisci feedbackThere is a lot to see in the burg, but if you have children with them, I recommend the robin hood adventure center and robin hoods hide first. there are many interactive games there. the hidden is a very complex version of a children's playground. when they love art and pottery, I recommend to go first into the castle and explore the first and second floor. they can also do something coloring to pass the time when they feel like a break. I was a little disappointed that most were built after the construction was destroyed, so there were no beautiful interior designs or relicts.
Very worthwhile. We had a tour of the caverns and enjoyed a very well informed tour guide who explained everything well and answered all our questions and more. Also enjoyed the other exhibits which were very professional and interesting. The Robin Hood interactive exhibit was a lot of fun. A great place to be informed and to then stay longer and enjoy the pleasant grounds and superb views across the city for the day.
My wife and I had a lovely 4 hour trip here on Saturday. It really was a great experience. My only criticism would be that the robin hood adventures was only about 25 minutes long and meant that we couldn't do all the games and watch the film that was showing too. Aside from that it was a great day and really interesting. Thank you
Don't go expecting a real old castle.Great military, art, and history museum with a tour of the caves below. The place is just beautiful with a cool interactive Robin Hood exhibit.
It was a fantastic experience! The exhibitions were incredible, and the staff was exceptional. When they noticed that we were a large group of women and children in need of a place to pray, they kindly cleared out a room for us. I highly recommend visiting; we would be happy to return. The Robin Hood adventure was a lot of fun, and we all enjoyed the games!
