Sahara - Oak Park

The food at this restaurant was delicious. The steak bites were tasty, but the portion size was a bit on the expensive side. The Taboulee was also very fresh and enjoyable.

The Shawarma was very dry and had very little sauce on it. The fries were cold and soggy. Overall, it was the worst Shawarma I've ever had.

The salad here is top-notch and I plan on ordering it every week!

I know prices are higher now but I just paid $15 literally a small handful of salad and some chicken. Also I have never ordered a salad from this place that had the same ingredients as ordered previously. Its always different and they put the dressing on the salad even if its to go. Dressing on to go salad should always be on the side. Save yourself some trouble and eat at the one on Hall Rd in Utica

I've been eating at Sahara since I was 13. I'm 45 now and they still put out the same quality food as they did when I first started going there. As long as they're around, and I'm alive, I will be eating at Sahara. Thanks guys!
