The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.

We have never been here and were happy with the stay. we have in several opposite hotels and this was beautiful. we would stay here in the future. breakfast bistro ladies were great. many parking spaces and a quiet opposite. the fitness room was also good. pool looked inviting, we didn't use it. no major problems during the stay.

We stayed four nights at the Oakbrook Terrace Courtyard by Marriott in mid-August, 2021. The purpose of our trip was to visit with family, who lived throughout all of Chicago. The Oakbrook Terrace location provided convenient access to the Chicago highways we needed, so we could easily plan our family visits. We loved the comfortable rooms and beds, the lobby and outside areas for evening sunset beverages, and the ability to have breakfasts at the hotel. The maids were discrete and asked if we needed services. We said yes, and expressed our appreciation to these wonderful ladies. The check-in clerks/gentlemen were cordial, and clearly explained the hotel’s offerings. Based on our positive experience with this hotel’s staff, facilities, and location, we will plan our next trip to this oasis in the busy western suburbs of Chicago.

The hotel is set back from the busy suburban strip (in fact the sign for it is kind of small, so you might not know the hotel's there) and is built around an actual courtyard, kind of a nice one. Everything about it worked well for us--Cyrus, the splendid front desk manager, worked with us to get the rooms that suited us best. And the other guests here were probably the most civil of any on our three-week trip, during which we stayed at many places: when we asked the people next door, who were clearly having a good time, to turn down their music and lower their voices, they did, without complaint--it would seem to me that when a hotel is well run the guests respond to it: that was our experience here, anyway. We'd certainly return.

Do not stay here I had someone trying to get into my room 3x in the middle of the night. I called and spoke with hotel immediately, they brought me keys to go to another room down the hall, however all of my belongings were in the old room. She said she could not say anything to the guests unless they “do it again”. As a solo business traveler, this is absolutely unacceptable. They were trying to get in through the adjoining room deadbolt. I left immediately to stay at a different property the next morning.

Stayed here for the weekend and I can’t remember a hotel that was this quiet! Beds were very comfortable as well! Hotel is located near a nice area with lots of shops and restaurants. Perfect place to stay if you’re in the area.
