Sweet! Bakery Oakville

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and the Sweet! team for my wedding, and I can’t say enough good things about their incredible treats!I ordered a small, minimalistic heart cake and cupcakes for my guests, and I’m still getting compliments about how delicious they were. Aren’t they beautiful!?If you’re looking to cater desert for your birthday, wedding or special event, I can't recommend Sweet! enough.Thank you, Sweet!

I found this bakery on TooGoodToGo app and purchased a small bundle with 1 triangle cheese chive scone, 1 triangle cranberry scone, 12 assorted premium cupcakes. I was there merely an hour ago and had to find them on google maps to save it as a favourite place.The quality of the scones were amazing! Normally a scone dries out your mouth (granted they should be a bit dry) but these didn’t cause that issue, they were tremendously flavourful and just moist enough yet heavy enough to be perfect.I can’t eat 12 cupcakes in a day, but the one I did have (carrot cake with toasted coconut) was just perfect! And they look so good. I’ll definitely be coming back again

Ordered a Vegan Strawberry Shortcake from Sweet Bakery in Bronte for my wife’s Bday. Upon cutting and serving said cake, it was painfully evident that there wasn’t a single strawberry inside, only 2 thin strips of what looked like strawberry jam?! The flavor was lack luster and far too sweet, “ Hence the name”..not at all what I’d hoped for. I like this small local bakery, and do not wish to hurt their business, just wish there would’ve been a little more transparency about what I’d be getting for my $75 when I placed the order! Upon calling “Sweet” to convey my dismay, it was explained that they purée the strawberries into a sauce instead of using actual strawberry pieces. This certainly is a more cost efficient method to the bakery’s benifit, leaving their customers feeling slightly duped and in this case dissatisfied. I will give Sweet another go, in hopes they redeem themselves?!

They did an amazing job with a custom cake that I ordered. They were able to take a design I hastily sketched out into a full scene. I looked for quotes from a number of bakeries in the area and they impressed me with their professionalism and responsiveness. On pickup day, they made sure my cake was wrapped very nicely. There were some tall elements to the cake which meant the cake box couldn't close normally. They were able to carefully tape it open while protecting it with some cling wrap. So happy they took such care!
