Restaurant Baren

We have family living in oberageri, so we called here for a Saturday evening meal when on a visit. the staff was nice and friendly on arrival and although the waitress we had only spoken a little English, she explained the menu perfectly. the soup became a 10/10 of all who had given it. the Entrecote Steak was nicely tender and perfectly cooked. a good selection of wine rounded off a good meal. our glasses were never left empty with attentive service.

We went to Baren restaurant with friends. I have to say that the atmosphere and service in the restaurant is really nice. In all honesty, I think I was a bit unhappy, because my starter (Salad) was not washed and therefore still had sand in it. The waitress dealt with the topic very quickly and offered another meal I rejected, and in the end I didn't have to pay for my starter. The main corsis was beautiful (Veal) but it costs a robbery of 55 CHF, which I think is something too pricy. Anyway, it was good and I choose to know it costs. My wife's pasta was overcooked. Overall, this experience was only average, but I will definitely give it another chance as there was a nice night.

I visited the restaurant several times and have always received excellent service and food. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the selection of dishes is very good

Das Restaurant Bären in Oberägeri ist eines der wenigen Gasthäuser im Kanton Zug, wo das Essen, der Service und die Ambiente 100 prozentig übereinstimmen. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert die Chefin persöndlich, mindestens 4x pro Jahr ihren Bären. Das Essen ist jederzeit frisch und mit besonderem Charm zubereitet. Es lohn sich, sich im Bären verwöhnen zu lassen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Herzliche Gratulation dem ganzen Bären Team.

Das typische Dorfrestaurant hat eine gutbürgerliche Küche. Leider ist das Ambiente eher kalt. Das Essen kann durchaus empfohlen werden.
