We stopped here on the way to the Wanderlust Park. A typical small snack bar with a very nice operator. Customers were mixed, some regulars and many cyclists. In any case, the atmosphere was very friendly and open-minded. By the way, the food was excellent and not mass-produced. Hofer bratwurst in a large roll was great, but the tender, crispy schnitzel and the crispy fries were particularly great. I can happily recommend this snack bar!

FERNWEH HAISLA Is a name of a cute snack hut(cottage), with some open air dining tables besides it and this is located close to a Schwesnitz river that runs besides the Fernweh Park . A nice and pleasant place that offers some casual foods to barbecue or grilled foods also easy to purchase drinks like bier, soft drinks, hot drinks, sausages, self prepared sandwiches or burgers, etc. The owner is very friendly and he offers the guests foods that are popular in the Franconian cuisine. My first time to sit here with friends and take hot tea after a small walk at the Fernweh Park. Parking: There are parking areas available in the area too. Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome because the owner has also grandchildren. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair driven guests have no problems in coming in and out.

Nice host who offers delicious food at reasonable prices. Big portion. Always communicative guests. Simply a must when you're standing there. Gladly again!
