Tommy's Sub Shop - Ocean City

The best damn grease in town is their motto however I believe that they could change or add to that with the best damn sub in town . I first found Tommy 's sub shop about 20 years ago maybe more. It was great food then and very affordable for some young broke guys hangin out in OCMD for the summer. I was recently in OCMD with my wife and kids and I was feeling nostalgic so took them to get some Tommy 's. Still the best damn sub in town as far as I 'm concerned.

So Tommy's is an old school, not trying to be old school, but an actual old school sub shop... It even smells like a good sub shop. Got a large steak and cheese with mushrooms, it was honestly the best I've had. Was not fancy, the beef was well seasoned, tasted great and was very beefy. There was the perfect proportion of meat, to toppings to bread(which was a great roll, toasted but not overly crispy). Unfortunately went to Devito's earlier in the week...wasn't very good..

No wonder it 's been around since '78! Fantastic meaty and delicious steak and cheese! We will definitely be going again!

The cheeseburger sub was perhaps the single greatest experience of my life. Never before have I tasted such a delicious combination of flavors. I have now had it two days in a row and plan on a third! If I lived here, I?d probably have this most days of the week.

Very good sucheese steaks subs and shakes are great. Made with milk and soft serve. They could be a little more thicker but if you do not mind a little less than thick shake it's on the money
