I was craving Lo Mien. I bought the Chicken Lo Mien and it was delicious. Lots of flavors and fresh. 2.5 year old daughter liked too. The chicken tasted like good chicken, not over cooked or cheap. Will probably go again. Order took about 20 minutes ordering from online. Never had been, but now I know this place is good to try more.Food: 5/5
Fantastic place! I’ve been here twice and I’m have loved both times. The spicy dishes are a perfect amount of heat and flavor. And the portions are HUGE. Very good amount of food for what you pay. I’m stuffed and I can probably make two more meals out of the leftovers. I will be coming back here! My dad is less adventurous than my mom and I, and he enjoyed the sesame chicken.
I 've been here several times ever since they first opened years ago. Long gone is the larger drink menu they have where I would order this nicely made fresh avocado slush. BUT what I continuously come back here for is still here along with a few of my other favorite dishes. If you like authentic Chinese food, like the crispiness of nicely fried food (eggplant to be specific) and can take some heat (spice) there is one dish that you should definitely try: Crispy Eggplant w/Szechuan Spice. I don 't know how they make this dish but if there is just one thing I have to order from their entire menu, this would be it. The eggplant is so soft and it almost melts like butter when you bite into this crispy fried delight. The breading is flavorful and very tasty and the heat is just enough to complement everything. I have a friend that doesn 't eat eggplant because of its texture and love this menu item! At $10.99 under the Vegetable section of the menu (it used to be under the Appetizer section too before they redid the menu), this generously portioned dish is one of their most popular menu items. We ordered the Scallion Pancakes and Pan Fried Pork Dumplings to start off with. The Scallion Pancakes is good but slightly greasier than I would 've liked and I usually skip it as you get a small one for $5.49 and I feel like other appetizer items would justify their prices more. But we got it for our son who fondly refers it to as pizza . The Pan Fried Pork Dumplings are very nicely made and fried perfectly with the right amount of crisp and accompanied by a slightly sweetened soy dipping sauce. I usually get the Dry Sauteed String Bean with Minced Pork and Eggplant or Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce but decided to mix it up and try a few different dishes. We tried a favorite of our friend group...the Chongqing Diced Chicken with Chili Pepper and Peppercorn. This one is very spicy and numbing at that. It is flavorful and tasty and I believe this is also one of their most popular dishes. We also got the Hot and Spicy Crispy Prawns, which to me looked and tasted like it 's the exact same peppers and spice as what is used in the Chongqing Diced Chicken dish but I 'm not 100% sure. It is close enough that I should 've ordered the Crispy Jumbo Shrimp with Aromatic Pepper Salt. That dish is not labeled spicy and I remember it being very tasty in my past visits. It was just redundant in terms of flavor for me this time around since the chicken dish is similar but it was still good. Both shrimp dishes I mentioned here have the head and tails on still. The last dish we got is the Chinese Braised Pork Belly. I would 've ordered the Double Cooked Pork Belly but that has some spice and we needed a dish that is void of that. The Chinese Braised Pork Belly is a good option. It is simple, rich, pairs well with rice and accompanied by fresh steamed broccoli. Rice and broccoli are a must to cut into the fatty richness of this delicious dish. We skipped dessert as the little one started to get fussy but aside from waters we did get a pot of their green tea, which my husband expressed that it 's the best green tea he has ever had. Overall, the dishes are decently to generously portioned for how they are priced and I read that their lunch specials are an even better deal. Too bad I am not close enough to partake in that right now but I look forward to that day in the future! Staff is nice, polite and checks in with us at a good interval I would say.
Found a Szechuan place in NW area that’s the way better than Asia district . The service is great. It doesn’t take long for the food to come after ordering. They offer some unique dishes that other Chinese eateries don’t have. The food I ordered is excellent that I almost overate. After many visits to this restaurant, the quality is still great.
