The sauce is typically the essential component in Italian cookery, and it needs the proper ingredients so it will taste good. This restaurant does not have a good sauce. It was very salty with no counterbalance of sweetness at all. Either sumptuous tomatoes or a scant amount of sugar will elevate any sauce to another level. This was not the case here. On the other hand, the meatballs were perfect. I can not come back.
Average Margherita but without the traditional crust. Sweet red sauce made it worth the purchase. Mini Bomboloni by Bindi
The pappardelle was over cooked and mushy. Other items were okay, but nothing to write home about.
The sauce, which is the heart of any Italian dish, was not good. The meatballs were excellent.
