I walked in with a few friends after work yesterday and one of the totally wasted regulars wanted to rumble with us before the door closed behind us. Passing on the invitation to throw down, we ordered some food and a few beers. It took a while to get the beers, but we needed them to wash down the marginal food. (I had chili which I'm still tasting 36hrs later). Before we left another totally wasted regular (female) wanted to beat up my friend in the parking lot because he wasn't interested in buying her a beer. Never going back. Probably won't even drive down that road again!!!!
A great little neighborhood bar. Yes, the seniors at the park love it but so what! You can't beat their daily specials and everything we have tried so far is really good. A little light on the help at times but that's the way it goes.
This place put a whole bunch of peoples drinks on my card and I didn't notice until a few days later my bank called to investigate and they gave them the run around $140 worth of alcohol was charged to my card because they assumed I was with a party just because they were talking to me refused to refund my money despite zero proof they were my drinks **** this bar
Great, little divy bar, with friendly bartenders and a decent selection of beers at very reasonable prices. Only wish the kitchen would stay open a bit longer on the weekends. We had stopped in after hitting a few other places andwd some food, as well as a few more drinks and the kitchen was closed. Bartender was cool though, and let us order in some pizza since she couldn't serve us food. Not on the area often, but I will definitely come back each time we are in town.
The food was good but the service was almost non-existent. On 7/23/2021, my wife, her nephew, and I went to this restaurant for an early Friday dinner and drinks. We had three seats at the bar, smack in the middle. It was as if we were invisible. We had to flag down a waitress for our first and only) round of drinks, we had to flag down our waitress to ask for menus she gave us one), we had to flag down our waitress to ask if we could order food, we TRIED to flag down our waitress to order more drinks. She pretended not to notice us, all this while she and another waitress seemed to be chatting it up with each other and laughing. We would have ordered multiple rounds of drinks but we could not get any waitress to check on us. Finally we gave up and I asked for the check. I paid the check, leaving a modest 18% tip $7 on a $40 tab) and I wrote on the receipt,, Not great service . The waitress, Leslie, approached me after the bill was closed out and said we were not her only customers. I pointed out that she NEVER checked on us throughout our visit, to which she said, If you 're not satisfied with the service, feel free to go somewhere else next time ! If she gave us even average service, we would have spent $100 or so, plus a sweet tip. We have family in Olmstead Falls and this experience has soured us and our Ohio relatives from supporting this restaurant.
