Because of this new HOM in Mandaluyong, I know firmly believe in second chances, and that each restaurant, ko matter how many locations or franchises, should always be reviewed as its own. My experience at THIS HOM was simply enjoyable. The staff was obviously nee albeit trained from the other locations, but they had a certain rhythm to how they hosted their diners. We never had to ask for refill on drinks, we were asked about our experience, what we enjoyed and didn't, etc. You rarely ever see this in Manila, even with 5-star restaurants. On a side note, this HOM location beats the staff and service at Greenhills any day! Now, onto the food. Expect to unleash your carnivore. Although they operate on a 3-4 course meal, if you have kids, you can always ask for an ala carte dish or finish your kids' soup ???? If you love the marbled steaks, opt for Rib Eye. You can't go wrong. For those that prefer a leaner meat, the filet mignon will work to fill you up. Have the appetizers, like the nachos and sisig wraps. I know that may not be an ideal combination all together, but when at House of Minis, Mandaluyong, you have to try everything on the menu, at least once. Kain!

When you want that full course steak meal complete with the works (soup,salad, rolls and desert) at a very affordable price then House of Minis is my go to. Such a classic and they have survived the test of time.

The steak not only completed our Sunday surf-and-turf theme but also brought back fond memories of date nights in the cozy House of Minis-Greenhills.
