Zaika Indian Cuisine - Omaha

This restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine, and you won't find any beef on the menu. The fried cauliflower appetizer was absolutely delicious! They have a wide variety of tasty vegetarian dishes, alongside meat options. The owner was also very courteous.

This restaurant is seriously underrated! I visited on a Tuesday night and was impressed by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and everything we tried was fantastic. We sampled three different dishes: lamb, chicken, and shrimp, along with naan and samosas. The food tasted incredibly fresh, and I highly recommend you give this place a try!

In a town fortunate to have several outstanding Indian restaurants, Zaika stands out as one of the best! Conveniently located downstairs from Old Chicago near 144 and Center, it boasts a pleasant and inviting interior. Upon being seated, we were served papadum along with two delicious dips. The cauliflower appetizer and garlic naan were exceptional. We tried both chicken and lamb tikka masalas, as well as a goat curry, all of which were top-notch. While the selection of alcoholic beverages was limited, the house wines were satisfactory, and the beer from Bangalore was quite enjoyable. The generous portion sizes left us with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day, and they even offered extra rice. We will definitely return!

Great food and super nice inside. Literally from the time you step into the place. Best Indian restaurant we had yet in Omaha! Will see you soon!
