The service I received was not very much appreciated, the attitude from the young lady named Laura that was making everyone?s food.
Staff were very unfriendly, slow, my sons ham sandwich literally had ONE piece of ham. When I asked for another slice she basically said, no, they weigh it out. Won?t be back
I?m not typically one to leave a review if it wasn?t a good experience, but this one needs to be shared. We walked in to the eat with our 4 kids who were so excited to eat at Mama Goldbergs. They picked out their chips and had sat down to eat. I stood atthe counter for a few minutes with 4 workers working the line making food and finally had to ask if anyone was going toacknowledge us and/or take our order. The girl said ?yeah sorry, we?re just really busy?. So I stood there another few minutesand another family walked in and the same worker looked at us, obviously working hard but said ?I?m sorry, but it?s gonna beabout 10-15 minutes?. I then asked ?10-15 before you?ll take our order?? And she responded with ?yeah sorry we have a bunch oforders we are working on?. Note: there were only 3 booths with people in them. I get being busy, but with people waiting in thestore, one of the 4 people needed to have taken our order or at least been more apologetic. I took the kids to the car, but thegirl stopped working for a minute to check us out for our 4 bags of chips. We are now driving home with 4 disappointed and upsetyoung children. We definitely won?t be coming back to this location. As a business owner, I felt the company should know thatthis type of service isn?t acceptable. I give 2 stars because we do like the food.
I love this restaurant and love having one in Opelika! I am a mom of a one year old and even love taking my kid here? today I made an order on the app and was given a pick up time and drove up to a dark store front. It was 7:10pm on today Sat 9/4. Thishas happened a couple other times to us. I understand everyone is low staff but there?s got to be a way to tell your customersin the app that store is actually closed earlier than supposed to be. Edit: 1/30/22 it?s been several months and we?re stillcoming to this restaurant but I have one thing to say, if you have Highchairs you should have changing stations in yourbathrooms.
