We decided to have coffee at the botanical garden. The coffee was good, but the Greek pastry we ordered was a bit sticky and tasted like plain custard. It wasn't anything exceptional.
On our way from Bathurst to Dubbo, we stopped at a cafe to get milkshakes for the kids after enjoying the adventure playground. We purchased four milkshakes and were disappointed to find that the traditional milkshake cups were not filled to the brim despite being charged $5 each. When I raised this issue, the staff member insisted that the cups were filled according to their measurements. I pointed out that the cups were the same size as the smaller plastic cups they offered, but the staff member became dismissive and told me to leave after throwing back my $5. It was a disappointing experience, especially considering the importance of supporting tourists along the way.
Small selection, but excellent Greek cuisine. good attentive service. good selection of local wines. also as caffe for orange botanic garden.
Best fish and chips in town. Home style food and desserts with a lovely surroundings. Enjoyed my lunch here with family. Will be back back again!!!
