Shoeless Joe's - Orangeville

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. When we were seated, we placed our order right away. My spouse requested a black coffee and was informed that a fresh pot needed to be made, so we patiently waited. Another couple arrived and placed their order about 20 minutes after us. To our surprise, they received their food, including fries, before we did. After waiting a total of 40 minutes, our meals finally arrived. I ordered a Souvlaki Chicken wrap and salad, while my spouse ordered a Buffalo Chicken wrap and salad. Our coffee still had not been served until we inquired about it. This ended up being the longest lunch I have ever had. For the first time, we decided not to tip the waitress, as our food was cold, lacking in flavor, and the only enjoyable part was the salad.

We met up with our friends from Barrie at Shoeless Joe's on Wednesday. It's our go-to spot because the flatbreads are half price and they have a great deal on wine. The service, as always, was top-notch and the pear chorizo flatbread was absolutely delicious. We had a relaxing time on the patio and can't wait to go back in August!

Had a dinner with the Duchess here and was very pleasantly surprised. Seating was comfortable, table service was really very good a pleasant young lady to help us... Food was well cooked and presentation also well done. Had the cheesecake desert and it was terrific.

We meet our Barrie friends in Orangeville regularly. Although we've tried other places we keep coming back to Shoeless Joe's. The wait staff is excellent. Thank you, Debbie. The menu is varied and tasty. On a nice day, the patio is lovely for sitting, sunning, dining, and visiting. Although service is efficient and attentive, we never feel rushed. Wednesday is half-price flatbread day and since three of us often order flatbread that is a happy bonus. The spring menu has a delightful pear and goat cheese flatbread that is a particular favourite.

I have been visiting this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the consistently delicious food and excellent service. The menu is fantastic, especially the appetizers, and the staff is always friendly.
