Makai Cafe - Orihuela

Only 10 minutes away from where we were staying. Not on the main street so you’ll need Google maps to find it! It’s a hidden gem. Healthy breakfasts with the best cappuccino ever! We ate here 5 times whilst away so this speaks volumes! Highly recommend.

Excellent food and great choice. Beautiful venue. Family friendly. Have eaten here twice and both times good and service were excellent. Will return.

Outstanding food and service. Always an enjoyable breakfast and atmosphere at Makai. The egg dishes are fantastic as is the full English.

We came for brunch twice. Everything was great, the staff are lovely and the food is excellent. The full English looked very good but I had shakshuka which was delicious. The next visit we had the crostinis which I would recommend. They do a pretty decent cup of tea too!

Came for late lunch around 15/15. 30. Not very many guests.At least 3 waitors completely ignoring me. One finally came and asked: are you eating...even before I got to say or order anything lik a drink. I answered: maybe. That meant he had to go and get me a menu. I got another waiter w somewhat more energy to take my order. Ordered vegan burger w sweet potatoe chips...only had ordinary chips. Very little sallad w the burger and no tomatoe. Unfortunately tasteless. Too noisy and very loud music, as it also was last time in the spring when I brought 2 friends there for lunch. I really want to like this place, but cannot.
