El Potro Grill Conway New! - Orlando

10-3-2022 Was a very good meal and the prices are not bad at all. The staff was friendly and attentive. Dinning area was neat and very clean. Over the years, this building is many restaurants that I hope this one is holding around.

We waited for this restaurant to be opened this week and stopped for lunch. We love authentic Mexican foods and are always hopeful. El Potro didn't disappoint! The menu is extensive and it was nice to find a place with Chile Rellenos. Kenyera was our server and was excellent. They served chips and a medium-sized salsa before meal and also offered a spicy green salsa that was delicious. We tried a variety of dishes and everyone was very satisfied. They were able to accommodate a milk allergy and received the order directly on the first attempt. Happiness hour is like 2-4-1 margaritas on Mondays. Everyone was so polite. We can't wait to go back!

Don Pablo and crew are excellent! Beyond clean and organized. The kitchen is on the point, a sustainable cooking out. I like the taquitos plated (flautas on menu). More than enough for a normal appetite. Chips and salsa are a great starter, but get the extra special cheese diving. It is warm cheese with a light jalapeño taste (very mild). If you are braver, ask for the special hotter sauce. You will only bring on request!

Food was great, great staff. the best jalapeño cheese dip ever!! we had the chicken quesadilla and the frogs. was so good that we came back two days later.

I would definitely come here again. The price beat La Fiesta on Curry Ford road. The quantity was plenty. The flavor was pretty good but maybe the chicken could have a little more spices but I would still order the chimichangas again if they didnt change anything. The Mexican salad which accompanies the chimichangas is a good size and the beans with cheese have a nice flavor. Chips and salsa are served once you sit and we received the medium salsa which is probably a bit spicy for the majority. You can ask for mild salsa which has a sweeter not spicy taste.
