Pokeworks - Orlando

The best food place in Downtown!! Stopped by to grab a bowl before going out for drinks with friends. The manager Ilyana made my bowl and was so kind and informative. Service was great and the store was clean. Definitely will be coming back!

Food was good. Service was horrendous. I came in at 12 and the lights and the “open” sign were off (they allegedly opened at 11am). When I walked in, the one guy working there just looked and me and didn’t say anything. Instead, he began cleaning and putting up dishes. I asked if they were open and he replied that he had a “catering order” and that he hadn’t had time to do anything else. As I stood there waiting for him to take my order, he continued cleaning for about 5 minutes. It got to the point that I asked if he intended to take my order or if I should go somewhere else. Eventually I was served, but his salty attitude persisted during the entire ordering process. The food was good, but I probably won’t go back due to the abysmal service.

Typically I don’t leave reviews but tonight I had to. I came into Pokeworks on orange ave in Orlando and there was a gentleman working, fairly younger in age probably young adult. It started to get busy and I watched him answer the phone, get orders ready and still help customers out. Not once did he seem stressed out or complain. He even had suggestions and from what I could tell there was no complaints from any of the customers, they all either sat and ate happily or left happily. When it was my turn I asked him who helps him and without hesitation he responded himself. I then asked his name so I could leave a review, his names Tyler. The reason I’m leaving a review is because not only was he all of the above but the restaurant was extremely clean and he was extremely respectful. My mind was blown at how well he was able to juggle everything and not once seem aggravated along with keeping the restaurant as clean and organized as it was! I can only hope that he is getting paid well and taken care of by the company if anything he deserves employee of the month or even a raise if you ask me! Great job Tyler, keep up the great attitude and you will go far! I will definitely be back.

Awesome spot for late lunch or dinner. I usually stop by for an easy togo meal. It's very convenient for me because I work downtown. All the staff are super fast, friendly and efficent. Lots of toppings and sauces to choose from.

Unfortunately, I never had an opportunity to try the food. I walked in with family, the employee behind the counter said hello, to which I responded hello. He continued to tidy up the area and set out new bowls. When he finally looked at me again after 5 minutes, I ordered a California roll. Other guests walked in he quit picking up the bowl he was reaching for to help them. When I questioned ordering in person, he said he didn't talk to me because I was in the phone. Yes I was in the phone with my husband to get his order, since this was a new restaurant for us. He only stared at me. I told him I didn't order immediately because he was busy doing other things. No apologies, no, it will just take a minute. Absolutely awful customer service.
