Rocky Knoll Country Club - Orrington

After thinking about my last review I wanted to apologize for the bad review cuz it really didn't have anything to do with the course or workers there. 2nd of all the course really was in amazing shape for all the rain. I thought the guys mowing were really helpful and worked there butts off. I really really enjoyed your flags all marked the proper way as far as color of flag letting u know where hole was

Course is in good shape. Id give it a 5 but a couple of the greens need some love. So 4 1/2. Front 9 is pretty straight forward. And the back nine is the exact opposite. Gives a good mix of straight fairways and flat greens then the back switches over to challenging doglegs and a couple ravine hazards with difficult greens. Definitely recommend playing if your in the area. If you like walking the front 9 is perfect for it.

This used to be a GREAT COURSE! Not any longer.Greens weren't mowed for at least 4 to 5 days! Couldn't find any balls in the rough at times too.Sad.Hope things change to the way the old course was.

I visited Shorty’s Pub at Rocky Knoll this Sunday afternoon and was thoroughly impressed. The crinkle-cut fries were a standout, crispy and perfectly golden. The chicken fingers were flavorful and paired wonderfully with the honey mustard sauce. The pulled pork sandwich, served on excellent bread, was another highlight. If you're a beer enthusiast, their selection is sure to please. The atmosphere is laid-back, enhanced by views of the golf course. With attentive and friendly service, Shorty’s Pub at Rocky Knoll is definitely a top choice for quality meals.
