Wide range of sushi options. All super fresh! (The shrimps still moved). The cooks were super helpful to describe each dish and teach us how to eat it. A bit on the pricier side, but would definitely recommend it!

Great service. Also with the language barrier (French children, 9 and 12, against the old Japanese cook), the service was amazing and adapted. Super involved. Live shrimps were absolutely delicious. The Chawanmushi was perfect. Snake suggestion was a good game.

The Grandmakase menu was much compared to Sushi restaurants in the USA that I tried of similar quality and much more expensive. The cook was very friendly and patient to explain the different types of sushi, although its English was limited.

It is very much also about the people near you and around you, the character of the owner or the chefs, and the assistants, the quality of the conversation, the general atmosphere and the total experience. This is true all the time, and it is especially true if you are paying hundreds of dollars for your meal. おもてなしの心がなくなりましたから、久兵衛の寿司は食べなくていいです。お金の無駄使い。
