We had a really good time at Yellow Ape, good selection of Japanese beer and (surprisingly lots from New Zealand. Friendly and helpful staff and ridiculously good Mini pizzas (maybe too 'mini ' . As any other place in Japan, in not roomy, but I didn 't care, I was there for the beer, not the ambience, That is a common complain on any Japanese hotel/bar in Japan, just deal with it, standards in Japan are different and that 's it. I would totally recommend it, 5 STARS.

The beer is very delicious, and the beer is very friendly.

I like this place so much I almost don 't want to tell... anyway, tonnes of carefully selected IPAs, stouts, ales and more, cheap and tasty food, friendly staff (who don 't speak much English but try anyway), good music (I got 'Rhythm Is A Dancer ' by Snap and a couple of other 90s radio classics last time I was in there, wicked). Usually 1000 yen a pint and 600-700 a half. Absolute winner of a bar and one of my favourite craft beer bars anywhere, ever.
