Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Oshawa

At 10:55pm on Sunday October 1st, 2023 I went to this location to ask why they hung up the phone on me because I was asking what time they closed at and why it say’s something different on google. The so called manager hung up the phone on me said that I was playing games because I was calling from outside. I asked her if it was acceptable customer service to hang up the phone and she said yes that it was her form of customer service. I asked to speak to the managers she said she was the manager. I then asked to speak the the general manager and she pointed to him. I went on to call me sister and his dearest customer in a condescending manner and I asked him if her form of customer service was acceptable and he went on to say how he can’t control how she acts. He then told me how Canada is a free country and how both him and her can say whatever they want to me. I asked him how he would feel if he was asking about something and the person on the other end hung up in the middle of their sentence. He told me he would be upset as well. He then started yelling at me and telling me how I needed to leave because they were closed and how I was there for 15 minutes wasting their time. Meanwhile the other manager was in the corner laughing at me and speaking in their language. Never in my life have I felt this bad in my life and never have I ever been made to feel less of a human and honestly I don’t think anyone should ever have this experience especially working in fast food. On top of all of this I asked for both their names and the corporate phone number and I was told no because no one is getting fired.

Bad shop also bad service this is first time I come and a last time for mee .

I was asked to wait for fresh fries, and they also mentioned that my sandwich would be made fresh. After waiting, I received a combination of half cold fries and half fresh fries, along with a cold sandwich.

Staff went extra mile made chicken fresh for us and also gave my husband complimentary pieces of chicken bc they seen he was hungry, would highly recommend this location.

This is possibly the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Having worked at Popeyes, I know how a sandwich should taste and how warm it should be. After just one bite, I felt unwell. When I tried to call the store to voice my concerns, the phone numbers weren’t working. The food used to be great, but it’s really gone downhill. Additionally, there were two employees speaking in another language, and one of them was singing extremely loudly. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money.
