Falafel Me - Oslo

I initially considered giving Falafel Me a star, but Happy Cow charges extra for their "fully vegan or vegetarian" label, which this restaurant does not meet. Previously, they only had milk in a few sauces, and while the food quality was low, it was a decent value for the price. However, during my recent visit with a friend, I was disappointed to discover that they now serve various meat dishes and share a kitchen with animal fat. The cleanliness that was once present is now questionable, and I would advise against dining here if you are opposed to animal exploitation. Fortunately, I came across a much better, completely plant-based falafel van down the street a few days later. I highly recommend giving your business to King Falafel for the best falafel in the city.

After I heard many great things about the Falafels here, I was disposed of. There are hardly seats, and there is a kind of cold atmosphere. During winter it is even so cold in you 'll you have to open your coat! As for the Falafels, they were not as creepy as I were in many other places. The staff was not very friendly either. I wouldn't call them rude, but not just smiling, friendly and helpful. There are definitely better places for Falafels in Oslo!

Having lived in the Middle East for a while, it's disappointing to see pre-made falafel being served from a refrigerator instead of freshly prepared to order. While it wasn't terrible, authentic falafel should be made with fresh ingredients and served promptly. If you're in need of a quick vegetarian option in the area, this place could suffice.

Frickin delishious and cheap falafel wrap. Easy to veganize by just dropping the white sauce and asking for extra hummus.

The falafel at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced for Oslo (59 NOK in 2018). I believe that everything on the menu is vegan. You can place your order using a touch screen and then pick it up at the counter. There is seating available both indoors and outdoors.
