Fondita Mexican Grill - Ottawa

This place is really wonderful. We called in an order for takeout after a long day of travel on the way to our hotel. Every dish that we ordered was well cooked and delicious. It felt much healthier than other options that are typically available totravelers. We would definitely recommend!

Eating is so tasteful. it's not salt. they are genuinely flavored that deliver all the taste. also the sides of the bohnen and reis are tasteful and are often forgotten by other restaurants. the chilaquiles were the best I ever had. the children loved the tacos.

I saw all the great reviews and thought I would give this a try. let me summarize as follows: eat a wide menu and a variety of dishes. ambiente vivid and energetic. settings good seating choice service staff not friendly not atentitive. you feel like they're gonna do you a favor. it was due to the last issue that I gave this restaurant a bad review. they can have all the best ideas, but it is the customer interface and care that really counts. Nobody likes to pay for things and is ignored and not accepted.

Use to be great now it's awful. Ordered a cheese enchilada. It was so burnt I had to use my pocket knife to cut it. It's melted cheese and a corn tortilla. My 10 yr old has done a better job with our microwave.Ordered a chalupa. Got a tostada. Then the Waite tried to tell me a tostada and a chalupa are the same thing. Seriously? Then why do you have both on the menu?Tipped heavy so I can feel good about never going back again.
