Cantina Sur - Ottawa

Delicious food.  If you plan to use delivery, do not order using Just Eat but rather another service provider. Nightmare experience that ended, unbelievably, with the owner having to deliver the food herself which (I think) says something of her dedication.

Do not let the appearance of the restaurant discourage you! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic. If you have tried authentic tortillas from Latin America before, you will truly appreciate the taste! The enchiladas were delicious and the margarita was also amazing! I have no complaints! Be sure to check out the cute little posters on the ceiling to keep you entertained.

The best Mexican food in Ottawa. Cantina Sur has provided the real and delicious Mexican food. We really enjoyed their tacos. Definitely we will come back again.

Great food and music. Great food. Live music. Decent prices. Chilled atmosphere. This bar/restaurant is perfect for a relaxed date. They also have one of the cheapest pitchers in town at $12. I came here with my boyfriend last night and ordered a bunch of pork tacos. Holy ****. I'm pretty sure they were the best we've ever had. Very juicy and flavorful. This joint is run by the owners themselves. Which means you get the friendliest service, although not the fastest. But who cares. We had a great time and recommend it.

This restaurant is my favorite spot for authentic Mexican food. The menu features genuine Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. The service is outstanding, with the staff treating customers like family and showing appreciation for their business. The Gorditas and Tres Amigos dishes are absolutely delicious, and the yucas fritas taste just like homemade. The Cake de Tres Leches dessert is a must-try and definitely the best on the menu.
