The Springrolls are sooooo good. There's a lunch special during the week that u get a roll with your meal for a dollar extra or something like that.
Those who are looking for fancy dining look elsewhere, this is not your place. However, if you are looking for authentic northern Vietnamese food this is your place. Bac means north in Vietnamese. Most people associate pho with Vietnamese food, but if you don't try the other dishes you are missing out. I highly recommend this place.
We've been going here for years. Never disappointed. It's a little family run hole in the wall. They make the best spring rolls I have ever had (number 21, I think). Soup is delicious. The decor is pretty tacky, but that's part of the charm. Over the years, we have brought many friends there with us who are now regular customers. Pho Bac is one of my very favourite restaurants ever and that's not a statement I make lightly!
We have been frequenting Pho Bac since my son was a baby. It may not be the most upscale restaurant in town, but the atmosphere is welcoming, the service is exceptionally friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. When I call in for takeout and accidentally miss one of my usual dishes (or order less when the kids are not there), I always get asked if I really only want two soups. If you enjoy fantastic food in a modest setting at a reasonable price, this is the perfect place for you.
I absolute love this family run restaurant. They make the very best Spring Rolls I've ever had. Their Pho is perfect every time. I have been recommending it to people for years now and most have become regular customers and bring their families too.
