Cool historic hotel, booking and checking in were easy enough, wish it had more history displayed throughout the hotel. Unfortunately we stayed here when the saloon was closed (due to COVID) but, I imagine that would have definitely added to the ambiance!
First, there was no restaurant or bar to sit at or drink at like the web page says it has.All the rooms have to share a bath room down the hall way. No TV's in any rooms. the stairs going up to the second floor are like climbing a latter. Very steep with narrow steps. Be careful. Rooms have dust every where. So I know they are not wiping things down to be sanitary to prevent the virus spreading. Shared toilets were disgusting. Dirty. This place really should be shut down.
This was a disaster. The owners should be ashamed. There was little heat with leaky windows. The shower dribbled hot water. There was no way to get help during the night. At $150 we expected much more. Avoid this place! The only redeeming part was the young lady who worked the front desk.
This was a disaster. The owners should be ashamed. Poor heat with leaky windows and no blankets to help. The shower dribbled hot water. At $150 a night this place needs to either close or do a huge renovation.
