During our trip, which only had this one gas station, we stumbled upon Taste of India. We tried the samosas and chana masala, both of which were fantastic. The view from the car may not have been the most pleasant, but when you're a hungry vegan on a road trip through the heartland, who cares?
This small restaurant located inside a Jay Bros gas station came to our rescue! We thought we would have to survive on just oranges and chips for the next 10-12 hours. But then we stopped at this exit with only one gas station and discovered Taste of India inside. We ordered samosas and chana masala, both of which were amazing. The scenery from the car may not have been the best, but when you're a hungry vegan on a road trip through the Heartland, who cares?
