I have the crab cake for dinner because they are from the vegan coq au vin, much to my disappointment. the crab cakes were good, but not amazing and certainly not amazing enough to justify the price. the presentation was lacking glamour and the salate and sweet that the crabs were accompanied by bland and tasteless. simple steamed vegetables with a pfeife and an salate consisting of warm salate and a small nozzle of balsamico dressing. eating was all to be agreed, but nothing that would justify the prices or would make me return. disappoint how it was chosen as our chic dinner for our last night in aruba.
I ordered the vegan crab cakes and vegan escargots, both really tasty! Looooved the crab cakes! Had vegan crème brulee as dessert, so good. Staff is very very nice and helpful. Nice ambience as well. Definitely will come back to this place again!
Went in August 2020. Restaurant is following good covid protocols and is still open at this time (other restaurants in Aruba are temporarily shut). They are working on a more limited menu than usual but still had the vegan soup, crab cakes and creme brûlée available. I had the crab cakes (you get two with veggies and vegan Tatar sauce as a main) and the creme brûlée for desert. Both were very good. Staff and friendly and professional and knowledgeable about what vegan options are on offer.
Vegan escargots a d crab cakes , vegan raspberry crème brûle ... we came back 4 times in one week
A charming restaurant with friendly service. The vegan menu was very original, in the style of French classics and Caribbean dishes. We had the vegan crab cakes, vegan coq a vin, and mushroom escargot, and all were great. The soup of the day was parsnip-carrot and was also vegan. Very nice staff and great wine list.
