Very well run, upscale cocktail bar. It’s a speakeasy style place, and hidden very well. It’s at a strip mall that looks a little dodgy. If a local hadn’t told us about it, we never would’ve found it. Quite a secret hidden gem! The bar itself is gorgeous and looks very old school. The service is exceptional. We told them it was our first visit and we received complimentary frozen side car drinks (amazing! . We would come back again. Heard their food is great also.

Best kept secret in Palm springs. Drinks are top notch and the special was so good! It's meatloaf on Sunday. You would never know from the appearance outside what a gem Paul's bar is.

This place is not in the best part of the city. Some can say it's in the rough area. We were skeptical at first, but as soon as you open the door, it is a whole new world! You do not take reservations, first come first serve, and it is constantly busy. The drinks are great and I felt the effects after two. They do not skip the alcohol here, which is very rare to find. Excellent appetizers and menu looked great! Never an empty table and our host, Paul, was fun!!

One of the most spoken and very popular small “speakeasy” bars in Palm Springs! Their classic cocktails are amazing, and they have good menu choices that are all delicious! (I always get the Calamari... Paul, the owner, is a super friendly person you meet at the door to put you with a smile of appreciation, and will even get a drink for you if you need to wait a few minutes. The bar is very easy on the outside, but vintage and beautiful inside, with great fleet choices, and friendly and helpful bartenders, the sport small bow ties. As it is SO popular, it is very busy among Palm Springs visitors and locals alike! You do not take reservations, so expect a waiting time when you arrive, but it is worth it! To beat the crowd, we usually arrive at 15:45 and stand for him to open at 4pm. If you go later, Paul will usually give you an accurate estimate for a waiting period (usually 30 minutes to an hour... Take your time to experience Paul Bar! You won't regret it!

Great location.... in a strip-mall. The atmosphere is comfortable as the tables are nearby and the interaction with the diners is encouraged and easy. Food was excellent. Meatball and short rib sandwich were delicious. All items that came to Diners to see us and smelled delicious. Drinks are well made and unique....frozen Sidecar was delicious. Definitely back when in Palm Springs.
