We have been coming to palm springs for years and absolutely LOVED window bar, a relative newcomer to the cocktail scene. the bartender (forget his name, he was from brazil and amazing) made the BEST cocktails we've had in the region and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the spirits, on top of that he took the time to answer our questions and really went above and beyond to make our experience special. window bar is now on our list of just visits when in town.
This is a very nice bar atop a great hotel overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed the atmosphere but thought the drinks were way overpriced.
This little lobby bar is only open 5pm-10pm but it is totally worth a stop! I had the Desert Gin Tonic that came with beatiful fresh flowers floating on top. The bartender was a delight and it's always fun to watch people walking in and out of the hotel lobby.
The ambiance here is awesome in the evening, we strolled in after eating dinner a few blocks away. The bar was empty which nice because it was six of us and they only have 7 seats. Our bartender was really cool, she just moved to Palm Springs from Santa Monica about six months and didn't like the heat so much haha. The drinks here are excellent, I mean really good! It's take about 5 minutes to make one of the specialty cocktails so be prepared to a wait a second. I was a bit surprised at the amount of dogs that we saw at the hotel for a second I thought we had stopped at a doozie day care. We are dog lovers and have a pup ourselves but it was a bit odd to see so many dogs in such a nice hotel. I loved the drinks here though and most definitely will come back next time we are in the area. back again.
