Sushi House - Palo Alto

Great price, but rather small rolls. I usually have 1 to 1 1/2 for a session. I ordered three from here and pulled them off completely.

We have been regular customers for years, including the pandemic. Tonight we came to order three sushi rolls for our five-year-old who had put his heart on ikura for dinner. It took exactly 57 minutes to deliver three sushi rolls. They have recently reopened the dining room, and they still make a strong online order shop. The kitchen was full of staff, and we were lied three times by the service staff who said the food was in 5 minutes or less. 57 minutes is an unacceptable time to wait for 3 reels of sushi. If they let us know that it was over 20 minutes, we would have gone somewhere else. We will not be back soon; an hour for a small tray of sushi is UNACCEPTABLE.

Notes on yourself about lunch beef teriyaki takeout. Not impressed. Not authentic. Beef teriyaki was well overcooked and no sauce (dry, see picture). Salad was good, the dressing was strongly oil-based. The calibre rolls were surprisingly good. Sushi perhaps the way to this place. However, this is based on the 2 pieces Cali role I had.

The staff was good enough, but I? much worse than airport or supermarket sushi. We left a lot of what we ordered uneaten. Based on my experience, I would definitely avoid.

Comfortable casual sushi, friendly outdoor seating... I've been wanting to try this place for a while and dropped by for a late lunch, a spicy hamachi roll and salmon maki. Fresh, tasty, and a great value, I'm looking forward to trying more.
